More inconvenient facts to put the lie to the left's version of Hurricane Katrina.
Far from being a "slow response to the disaster", the Fed's efforts were actually quite swift . . . when not impeded by New Orleans' feckless mayor or Louisiana's wobbly governor. Sure, FEMA screwed up plenty, but they were hardly the only, or even worst, offenders.
Maybe it's something in the water down there. Gets into people and makes them slow or something.

You know what, Give me a freaking break. If you can say with a straight face that if all this happened with Clinton in charge, that you wouldn't be calling for his head, then your a liar AND a jackass. Not just N.O. either, that goes for everything Bush has screwed up, a list to long for this forum. You and the rest of the "red state" sheep should just buy pom-poms, sweaters, and short skirts, that way when you cheer YEA BUSH at least you'll look the part.
